For our very first release of independently bottled Scotch Whisky we took our time to select something extraordinary. With the help of our dear friend Neil Cameron (former master distiller at Scotland's oldest distillery and former master blender at the famous grouse), we have chosen this rare Scotch from the 80's, from a decade where not much Whisky was produced and, of which not much is left.
 
These Highland Malts have matured quietly for 31 years in four 1st-Fill Bourbon Barrels. An explosion of tropical flavours, mango, ripe pineapple, coconut, various waxes, bittersweet orange zest, citrus peels, vanilla, caramel and a massive finish! Expect some oak after such a long time on 1st-Fill Bourbon Barrels but don't be shy, this ester packed Whisky can handle it.
 
Thick, oily and creamy texture as it concentrated down naturally to a stunning 43.1% Alcohol by Volume.
